The set up at the YES Art Expo in the incredible Théâtre St. James in Old Montréal.
The first public exhibition of my paintings occurred over the past weekend.
I’d like to pass on a huge thank you to all the YES Art Expo staff for this amazing opportunity!
There was so much talent gathered under one roof- including visual, audio, and even performance arts. It was a crazy three days of VIP receptions, an artist conference, followed by the presentation of my work to hundreds of art-lovers. I met some great people, both visitors of the show and some amazing fellow artists. It was a fantastic way to start what I hope to be a long and fulfilling career!
Special thanks to my business mentor Coby, to the YES Art Expo coordinator Jennifer, to my conjoint Chris for his many hours of technical expertise (and driving), to my youngest daughter Sahsha for managing to fly in from Nova Scotia despite Air Canada’s best efforts to stop her, and my oldest daughter Brielle for driving all the way from Kitchener (she is clearly not as directionally challenged as her mother). Unfortunately, my BFF Carole could not escape from Nova Scotia to join us as planned due to old-man winter’s steady attack on the Maritimes this year.
Also thanks to my muse Moose Nicolle, and all the friends and family who support my artistic endeavours.
Looking forward to the next show!
